I can’t recommend Shirley highly enough. I saw her for acute insomnia. From the initial online discussion, Shirley really took time to understand what I was experiencing & clearly explained the hypnotherapy process & what to expect. I immediately felt at ease. Shirley creates a warm, supportive environment built on trust & genuine care. She also provided helpful support & encouragement between sessions. The results have exceeded my expectations. Sleep has improved dramatically: falling asleep much more easily & overall quality & length of sleep is vastly better. An unexpected benefit has been greater self-compassion which has reduced tension in both mind & body, and I find I am enjoying life more. I am currently editing a book on hypnotherapy as a lay person. I was intrigued to know how it works in practice. Shirley helped me with walking in the night. Rather than struggling to get back to sleep I now tend to sleep through, or, if I do wake up, am able to quickly dive back into restful sleep. I wake up refreshed and ready for the day.
